TERMS & CONDITIONS: HIRE ITEMS

Booking Deposit

All orders require a non-refundable deposit  (£25 - £200 depending on the item hired) to confirm a booking. Orders are not confirmed until a deposit has been paid.

Suit collections

Outfits will be made available for collection two days prior to use and are due for return before the close of business on the day after use. Saturday hires are due back on Mondays. Longer periods of hire are available upon request.

Incorrect supply and size changes

Incorrect supply or size changes must be notified on the day of collection or prior to wear, claims of incorrect supply or wrong sizes will not be entertained after the wear date. Freddie Hatchet is not responsible for any costs incurred, due to non or incorrect supply.

Returning of hire suits and accessories

Outfits must be returned in a reasonable condition complete with hanger, bag and must be the actual items hired from us.

Where outfits are returned in a poor condition involving specialist cleaning or repairs, the cost of such cleaning and repairs will be incurred by the customer

Items not returned by the arranged date will be charged a daily excess rate of 20% of the total charge.

It is in the best interest of our customers that we request that time is allowed to check the return of goods so that proper inspection may be made for personal items left in pockets, loss, damage or any chargeable staining resulting during the hire period. It is preferable that this should be agreed with the hirer or their representative at the time of return.

Non-return of any item will be charged for at the full replacement cost.

The hirer is totally responsible for items hired.

Non-collection of suits.

Suits not collected are assumed cancelled and the booking deposit forfeited.

Accidental Damage Waiver (ADW)

ADW insurance covers the hirer for accidental damage. It does not cover malicious damage or loss.
